About Kate Wilson

Hi, I'm Kate Wilson children's author/speaker and busy mother of three.

I live with my family amongst blackened gums overlooking the beautiful Yarra Valley. I draw inspiration from my wonderful surroundings and the myriad of people I encounter on a daily basis.

I am fascinated by the way children see the world and their place in it. With this in mind I prefer to write for children. I love to find new ways to tackle sometimes awkward subjects, giving children a way to understand them.
